and when you slam women for poor dating choices you have to realize that you’re most likely shitting on the most marginalized of women. since dating/ relationships/ parenting (like everything else) is largely determined by privilege.

there’s a reason why some women do not even think about what would happen if they had to be sole mothers without any financial support. and reasons why other women expect and prepare for it. 

in a sense some of us were raised to expect it. Growing up the girl children were taught how to run everything in the house. We were expected to clean a whole house, cook,  have proper phone etiquette, grocery shop for the entire house hold, pick quality meat/fruit, find deals, save money, and pick jobs in areas where there was a high likelihood of getting hired and paid well (nursing, computers, education.) 

We were told never to move in with a man. Never let him sign a lease with you under any circumstances. Always keep a second bank account. Never tell him how much you really make. 

And other lessons were learned by observation: He will be there when the weather is cold and his car is broken down. He will be gone as soon as the it is more than 50 degree’s out and gas utilities aren’t required. 

A man without skills will stay with you for life only because he has no where else to go and certainly wouldn’t know how to live other wise. 

If you marry an older man his desires in life will change just as you as a young woman become your whole self.  You will want to see the world. He will want to stay home or follow you to be sure you aren’t stepping out with another beau. 

College is always better than marriage. No one can take your education from you and at least you have a chance. A marriage can always be broken and it’s hard to come back from that. 

And there is a reason she is called a queen for she has wisdom etched inside her crown by her descendants and she has been ever so gracious to share their wisdom and what she herself has etched for future queens of this world.
