NCIS.  It was long overdue; it’s stuck in procedural hell. (i.e endless UST and characters that never change.) All procedurals that I watched in general were dropped except NCIS LA, I really hope they return to being a spy show again, basic cop procedurals are not my cuppa.

Which TV shows did you mean to get into but didn’t in 2011? Why?
Downtown Abbey – looks great, can’t wait to try it out.

Which TV show impressed you least in 2011?
NCIS:LA.  –Shane’s two biggest shockers or developments i.e Hunter and Sam’s fake family went nowhere and as I predicted, writers are trying to either ignore it for now or completely sweep it under the rug as neither developments did anything for the characters.  I’ve been waiting for the second half of the season since episode two since 2012 is where shit happens. Finally….

Which TV show do you think you might let go of in 2012 unless things significantly improve?
White Collar- they have no idea what to do with Neal and they have forgotten the family and trust themes that were pivotal to Neal’s development. Also, tossing random love interests at Neal really showing the writers are floundering. But season 3 is bad for all North American shows apparently. 

Which TV show impressed you the most in 2011? Why?
Game of Thrones for sure. Followed by Revenge, Person of Interest and Grimm—dynamics and mythology/story-telling is pretty tight. Grimm needs to avoid the filler eps though. 

Which TV shows do you think you’ll never let go of no matter how crappy they get? Why?
No such show exists, if its crap everything I love about it becomes null and void.

Your main fandom of the year?
Marvel. 

Your favorite film you watched this year?
Edit: XMFC and anything Marvel. I really enjoyed Hanna as well.

Game of Thrones 

Your best new fandom discovery of the year?
Can’t think of one. 

Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year?
None. 

Your biggest squee moment of the year?
Ending of Game of Thrones was epic. 

The most missed of your old fandoms?
None. 

Your biggest fan anticipations for the coming year?
The movies, I am cautiously optimistic for TV since it has a short shelf-life in terms of quality. I just want season two of Game of Thrones, if the rest is good that would be great.
