You want a list of Nasir’s character flaws? Here you go:
- He’s obstinate
- He’s pissy
- He fails to call Agron out on his shit
- He completely ignored his best friend as soon as he fell in love with Agron and by the time he noticed she wasn’t doing too well it was too late because there was an arrow in her throat
- He swings wildly between letting people take advantage of him and being a hardass who gets into blood feuds over people falling asleep on guard duty and mocking his size
But you know what? All these things just make him all the more interesting and dynamic to those of us who love him, and there’s clear reasoning for all of it. A ‘character flaw’ is a shitty concept because all it does is create the character more fully and vibrantly. Mira’s hopeless love for Spartacus is in essence a character flaw but we don’t fault her for it because there’s so much context there. Just as we don’t fault Nasir for his flaws because it’s so easy to see what made him that way.
Disney princess my ass.

Wealthy musician Amanda Palmer, who last year raised $1.2 million on Kickstarter to produce and release a record, recently used a TED talk to expand on the idea that artists should be willing to work for free. After relaying a story about how she used to be a street performer, Palmer, who is married to a very successful author named Neil Gaiman, told an audience of people who’d paid $7,500 apiece to be there that musicians shouldn’t “make” people pay for their work, but rather “let” people pay for their work. She also explained that she found it virtuous when a family of undocumented immigrants huddled together on their couch for a night so that she and her band could have their beds, because her music and presence was a fair exchange for the family’s comfort. After about 13 minutes of explaining why she is content with people giving her things, Palmer received a standing ovation.
When People Write for Free, Who Pays?
FYI, this is why Amanda Palmer is a giant SHITMONSTER.

All while she and her fans rally around her right to perpetuate ableism and appropriate native cultures in order to sell records, and SHAME ON ANY OF US OUT THERE FOR JUDGING HER FOR IT IN ANY WAY.

She also recommended instead of doing product placement for money, people should do things like “ironically send money to the KKK”.
…
Yeah.

Lol at the suddenly concerned Sterek fans about queer baiting because Tyler and Daniel do one promotional interview together. And I think Daniel touched Tyler’s arm, I can really see how that would be as suggestive as that b.s promo vid with Dylan and Hoechlin for two characters that don’t like each other that much nor interact on a regular basis in canon.
Ok then…. (turns sarcasm off)
I seriously do not understand mpreg.Men give, women receive. Unless Loki is a woman or turned into a mare.Ignore the first bit. People are either into mpreg or they aren’t, so that’s beside the point.
I just felt the need to point out that this is not only a bit sexist, but also…
